Are You Having Problems Getting Digital TV Reception In Sydney?
If you are, then the first thing you will want to try is re-tuning your TV. Every TV has an in-built TV tuner – that’s what makes a TV different from just a ‘dumb’ display or monitor. In some cases, you may have a set-top box that will contain a digital TV tuner, which then gets displayed on your TV. This was a very common installation during the Digital Switchover (from Analogue signals) in order to allow people to watch the digital TV transmission without having to buy a new TV. Either way, if you are watching TV, there is a TV tuner in your system somewhere!
The easy way to tune your TV is simply to hit the ‘auto-tune’ button in the Settings menu of your TV or set-top box. This works most of the time – and you will then likely see a progress bar showing the tuner scanning for all local channels (VHF, UHF and Radio). If this doesn’t work, then one option you may want to try is to manually tune your digital TV for local channels.

OK, so you have tried the Auto Tuning option on your TV and that doesn’t work. Now, you want to try the ‘Manual Tuning’ option.
